The Saber Blade: High Performance and Durability

The patented Saber blade shape is special. Carryback is shaved off the belt, not plowed off, at the most efficient point... the belt head. Even belts in excess of 900 feet (274 m) per minute won't slow it down. The blade angle of attack lets material flow away right at the transfer point, and allows mechanical splices to flow smoothly by.

The rotational movement of the blade is so slight, constant adjustment is a thing of the past. It even resharpens as it wears.

Durable and dependable, the super-premium polyurethane blade will last even under very harsh conditions. If you're really tired of constant blade changeout... It's time to change the cleaner, not the blade.

Technologically Advanced...
The Twister Tensioner Takes Belt Cleaning Out Of The Dark Ages

Twister Tensioner The patented Twister Tensioner has no mechanical parts; it is constructed of polyurethane, specially compounded to the torque value for a specific belt width.

The Twister Tensioner holds the belt cleaner to the head pulley until the blade wears out, delivering constant, even pressure without skipping or chattering -- and never needs adjusting.

Twister Tensioner The Twister will not rust or corrode and is guaranteed for life. It is easy to install and requires only a 4½ inch (114 mm) surface to mount. If you're in belt maintenance... the Twister could take a lot of tension out of your life.

The Twister's polyurethane design prevents these problems encountered with other types of tensioners:

Air TensionersMechanical TensionersRubber Tensioners
  • Loss of on-site air-pressure
  • Corrosion of metallic parts
  • Debris in air line damages tensioner and air line
  • "Air-bag" tensioners can have holes worn in the rubber bag
  • Constructed using numerous parts, so any one of these can be damaged or fail
  • Ice problems due to condensation in the air lines
  • Spring style tensioners fail due to build up between the wire
  • Corrosion of metallic parts
  • Constant adustment needed due to limited travel of the springs
  • Cleaners tend to bounce at mechanical splices because counterweights have too much or too little pressure
  • Easily takes a set
  • Corrosion, because construction still allows metal-to-metal contact within the tensioner
  • "Wrapping" tensioners can cause the pipe to bind against the weld rings, due to the rubber pulling up on the center line of the pipe
  • Operating temperature range is not as great
